As part of the EFFECTIVE project, restoration efforts in the Ebro Delta Bays focused on improving water quality and rehabilitating habitats. Sediment sampling in Els Alfacs Bay helped establish a baseline for future restoration, while strategies like planting helophytic plants to filter pollutants and removing excess organic mud to support seagrass recovery were implemented to enhance biodiversity and ecosystem health.
