Why COSEA?

Monitoring and protecting marine and coastal environments requires more than remote sensing and top-down data. COSEA enables citizens, researchers, NGOs, and local stakeholders to contribute in-situ observations that complement scientific monitoring and support better-informed decision‑making.

COSEA is designed to strengthen the link between people and place, transforming observations into shared knowledge and actionable insight.
